Museumsplatz

Vaduz, Liechtenstein, 2024

On the Museumsplatz in Vaduz, between the opaque façades of the Kunstmuseum Liechtenstein and the Hilti Art Foundation, the most human gesture is a round concrete bench. For “On the Street” in 2025 we designed a temporary pergola extending the surrounding buildings' grids into the plaza. Its timber, from an old factory under demolition, was set aside with the building-component store ZirkuLIE. Two budget cuts reduced it to islands, then ended the project.
