S Benkle vorm Huus

Schaan, Liechtenstein, 2025

How can housing become an adaptable framework for shared life? In 2025 the municipality of Schaan held a competition for affordable housing for young families In der Egerta, and we entered “S Benkle vorem Huus” with Dominic Spalt Architektur. The compact timber house has six apartments of 119 m², and movable lightweight walls let each one change with its household. The jury awarded the entry third prize among 17 entries.
