Green Room Initiative

The Green Room Initiative proposes that museums give part of their space to climate action, in proportion to the carbon footprint of their territory. Giulia Bellinetti and Luis Hilti developed it in 2020 for an international competition on museums and climate action. The goal is for the Green Rooms to disappear by 2050. The entry was not among the eight finalists and was published in May 2021 on the Museums for Climate Action website.
