On the Trail of Alpine Urbanisation

Where are the Alps heading? From January 2021 to April 2022 Luis Hilti led the research project “Alpine Gebrauchslandschaft Rätikon” at the University of Liechtenstein with Anne Brandl and Johannes Herburger. On seven hikes from Vaduz to Bludenz the team documented the Rätikon and described three moments of alpine urbanisation: panorama, crypto and aggradation urbanisation. In 2022 the University published the booklet “Die Urbanisierung des Rätikons” and a map.
