Studio Postfossil Neighbourhoods II

What does the target of net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 mean for an existing neighbourhood like the Lett area in Vaduz? In spring 2024 the Advanced Studio Landscape “Postfossil Neighbourhoods” at the University of Liechtenstein took up this question. A seminar week took the students to Paris, which is to become a 15-minute city. At the final review 13 students presented their projects, four of them as theses. The bachelor's thesis “Vertical Blueprint” sets rules for high-rise blocks in the Lett area, with limits on embodied carbon.
