The Line

Venice, Italy, 2018

What kind of landscape do we have, and what kind do we want? In 2017 Luis Hilti and Matilde Igual Capdevila won a competition of the University of Liechtenstein with THE LINE, a cross-section of about 12 kilometres. They walked it with Studio Venice. The exhibition opened on 26 May 2018 at La Biennale di Venezia, then in Vaduz. It led to the Institute for Linear Research and its “Atlas of Remoteness”.
