The Silver Lining

What influence does coming from or living in a microstate have? The Silver Lining was Liechtenstein's first presence at the Venice Art Biennale, curated by Kunstverein Schichtwechsel with Luis Hilti as one of four curators. From 24 October to 1 November 2015 nine young artists from Liechtenstein, Iceland, Luxembourg and Montenegro showed works in the Palazzo Trevisan degli Ulivi, starting from Walter Benjamin's “On the Concept of History”. A 56-page book followed in October 2016.
