Zero Waste Design Competition

How can the offcuts of a table become furniture? In 2024 we launched the Zero Waste Design Competition with ZirkuLIE, the circular economy centre of the Stiftung Lebenswertes Liechtenstein. Entrants designed furniture to go with our table Awlin, using at least three of the twelve offcuts from its production, and sent in a prototype at 1:5. A jury of three met at our atelier in Schaan and assessed eleven projects. The seat Daptin won first prize and the shelf Lawindur second; Milena and Moka-P received a third prize each.
