Schaan, Liechtenstein, 2025–2026

How can good flats stay affordable in Schaan despite high land prices? For the Gemeinde Schaan, Atelier Gapont tried out a few levers on the meadow on the Kaiserböhel north of the cemetery: using land more densely, sharing rooms and services, building more simply and asking how much floor space a household really needs. Built with detached houses, the meadow would hold about 100 people; the fictitious quarter of the study houses 400. Luis Hilti presented the study to the public in the SAL in Schaan on 14 September 2026.
