Schaan 2043

Schaan, Liechtenstein, 2023

How will Schaan shape its 26.8 km² of municipal land for a sustainable life? In the temporary tower of “Ich, die Zukunft” on the Lindaplatz, the municipality of Schaan held five discussion rounds on 1 and 2 September 2023, moderated by Luis Hilti. Our exhibition showed a possible Schaan of 2043 in maps, models and texts written from the future. The book “Schaan 2043: Wie wollen wir in Zukunft leben?” was printed in July 2025.
